Microneedling
Collagen Induction Therapy
Collagen Induction Therapy is a minimally invasive treatment that is used to rejuvenate the skin and build new collagen. CIT induces collagen production by using 12 sterile micro-needles to create hundreds of tiny invisible puncture wounds in the top layer of skin. Each micro-injury creates a channel that triggers the body’s own natural wound healing processes, releasing a cascade of growth factors. This in turn results in increased collagen and elastin production, improving signs of aging, lines & wrinkles, texture, and scarring.
Benefits
-
Boosts Collagen & Elastin Production—Promotes firmer, more youthful skin by regenerating new collagen.
-
Improves Skin Texture & Tone—Reduces roughness, uneven skin tone, and dullness.
-
Minimizes Scars & Hyperpigmentation—Significantly improves acne scars, stretch marks, and dark spots.
-
Enhances Product Absorption—Allows serums and skincare products to penetrate deeper for maximum effectiveness.
-
Reduces Redness & Inflammation—Helps calm certain skin conditions over time by rebuilding skin’s own natural barrier.
-
Safe for Most Skin Types—Is a minimally invasive treatment with little downtime, has fewer side effects than laser, or deeper, intense peels.
Process Overview
Do not wear any make-up or facial products on the day of treatment. The skin is prepped by double-cleansing, then applying a numbing cream for 30 minutes to avoid any discomfort. Once the numbing cream is removed, an additional cleansing will be performed, and skin will be sterilized with isopropyl alcohol. Before beginning the treatment, Epidermal Growth Factor serums are applied to the skin and are reapplied throughout the entire procedure. Once the treatment is complete, additional serums will be applied to the skin, followed by a calming mask and chilled cooling globes to enhance serum absorption, reduce redness, and close pores.

Healing Overview
A sunburn-like effect is normal. Your skin may feel tight, dry, or sensitive to touch. Be gentle with your skin! You may begin notice some light to heavy peeling, dryness, and increased skin tightness starting around 3 to 5 days post-treatment. This is normal as the skin begins its journey to renew, regenerate, and rebuild, new collagen and elastin.
DO NOT pick, scratch, or tug, at any areas of treated skin, you must allow your skin to heal on its own! Wait a full week before applying any skincare products. This will help your body's own natural healing process, do exactly what it was designed to do. You may begin to see improvement in as little as 3 days and skin will continue to much improve over the next 6 weeks as new cells regenerate.
Depending on your skin's condition, age, or specific concerns, additional treatments may be necessary to achieve your ultimate skin care goal. Repeat treatments are spaced 4-5 weeks apart.
